Ambulance Head

Quote

“Richie Lambert holds within his grasp that little something which can bring the most innocent of smiles to a cynics face. He takes you by storm, the perfect Mr Compere Exuberant, and proceeds to fire live ammunition in 3 minute thrash pop songs...” - John Dingwall

Full Bio

Coming out of the South of London and established in 2018 this trio of rockers have a well established pedigree. Richie’s influences are very much North American in tone (Richie Lambert guitar & vocals) and leverages right across the rock spectrum from Lou Reed to AC/DC with a wide range of song writing skills from classic anthemic rock like Lemon Squeezy to more soulful writing like Coluzzi Street. With roots in Heavy Metal, Dan Motchman (Drums), cut his teeth with the likes of Killer Be Killed at the Round House in Camden and admits reluctantly to being called a ‘light weight’ by the lead singer Max Cavalera where the quantitive elements of beer drinking was concerned. Peter Philips rounds off the trio with an intensity (bass) of performance bordering on apoplexy. This does not however underly his bass playing which is full of rich bass lines verging on the virtuoso.
